Editing Text and Images in a PDF
Need to fix a typo or swap out an image? PDFgear makes it simple to make direct edits to your PDF — no more going back to Word just to make a tiny change.
✏️ Editing Text
Open your PDF in PDFgear.
Click Edit in the top toolbar.
Click on any text in the document — a text box will appear.
Make your changes, just like you would in Word.
Click outside the text box when you’re done.
📝 Tip: You can also add brand new text boxes anywhere you like.
🖼 Editing or Replacing Images
Open the PDF and click Edit.
Click directly on the image you want to change.
Press Delete to remove it, or right-click to access image tools.
Use the Add Image tool to insert a new one.
💡 Good to Know
PDFgear preserves your formatting as best it can, but complex layouts may need a little cleanup.
You can undo changes using Ctrl + Z (Windows) or Cmd + Z (Mac).
